Children terrorising me
THE EDITOR: I am a single parent. I have observed that my neighbour’s children do not have any respect for me. I never allowed my children to play in the street or never allowed them to go to other homes. I do not know if this is the problem. Parents have to take a more firm stand in their children’s lives. M FERGUSON Marabella
These children in my street, throw stones on my roof, denting my galvanise, use my gate as a goal for when they are playing football in the street, call my dogs and then stone them, throw their snack paper on my gap, light scratch bombs and throw them in my yard, throw their starlite in my yard and most of the times I am right there. One of the neighbours play her music to the top level and her children speak on a microphone with no respect for the sick and dying, public holidays, Sundays, or even the word residential. Imagine everyday these children go to a school where they say the National Prayer, National Pledge and National Anthem.
