Explosive thrown at police station

ONE PERSON has been detained and is assisting Tobago police with investigations into an incident in which a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the Moriah Police Station on Friday night. At around 9.45 pm, three ‘chubby-like’ bottles were thrown into the police station located on the island’s north coast. One of the devices exploded. However no damage was sustained. The bottles were believed to have contained “toilet cleaning agent” and foil paper. Samples were retrieved and sent for forensic tests.
