TT Miss World leaves today for China
Jenna-Marie Andre leaves today for Sanya, China, to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the 55th annual Miss World Pageant, scheduled for December 10. TT’s last two representatives at the Miss World Pageant were selected into the finals — Magdalene Walcott in 2003, and Kenisha Thom in 2004. Andre looks forward to the challenge ahead, describing her representation as "a strong sense of pride that is unparalleled." The Miss World organisation has raised more than 100 million pounds sterling over the years for various charitable causes.
