THE EDITOR: Please permit me room in your newspaper to congratulate Ramesh Maharaj on his dramatic return to the frontline of UNC politics. A recent poll puts Ramesh support at five percent. This was actually one percent in the last poll, so Ramesh is on the move, very soon Ramesh will beat the six percent of his mentor Basdeo Panday. In fact, it was Panday who took Ramesh from a zero and made him so popular. But Bas should watch it again, since in quick time Ramesh will get very popular. A word to Bas. Watch Ramesh, he is on the move again. Ramesh is a strong man; he is just waiting to deal with all the UNC dead wood. The population is craving a unity between Dookeran and Ramesh.
