Princess Elizabeth Centre flooded again

On two separate occasions at the centre, furniture and appliances had been damaged due to flood water.

Personel at the centre now keep its furniture suspended on tables in anticipation of flood waters. "It was not bad as before we had some assistance from people that parked on the grounds because of the football game," a spokesperson told Newsday.

"It is not a comfortable feeling. We only get flooded in heavy rain fall," she said. "We are hoping that nothing bad happens and we are prepared. No one was injured," she stated.
