Mystery shooting baffles cops
POINT FORTIN police are calling on members of the public to come forward with information regarding the shooting of a 21-year-old man early yesterday morning. A police report stated that Ray Neptune of Egypt Village was dropped off at the Point Fortin Area Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest at 2 am. Up to yesterday, no one had visited Neptune or reported the incident to police. Neptune is warded in an unsatisfactory condition at the San Fernando General Hospital, where he was transferred to receive emergency medical treatment. Detectives suspect that Neptune’s shooting was drug-related. Point Fortin police are continuing investigations.
