Only darkness on Pregnancy Lane
THE EDITOR: Please allow me to write about my concerns regarding electricity in my street. I am from Pregnancy Lane, La Puerta Avenue, Diego Martin. For the past eight or more weeks two light poles have no lights on them. One bulb is blown and the other was never replaced since contractors changed the pole and left the pole without a light. They promised to come back the following week to give us some lights, but I am yet to see them, the only light we have is one pole way down the lane as soon as you walk in from the road. On several occasions I phoned TTEC and complained about the situation and up to now no one has come to rectify the problem and no one seems to care. This is overbearing and total slackness by TTEC and the contractors. The Christmas season is upon us and I wonder if we have to remain in darkness until they feel time is convenient to them. Right now the people living in this lane is taking chances with their lives to walk up the dark lane. They could easily become a crime victim. So before something bad happens, could the right authority treat this as an urgent matter and look into this problem soon. J DOE Diego Martin
