Jabloteh, Army clash at Malabar

Four matches are in store today, with one fixture tomorrow, while a number of locally-based players will be using this weekend’s matches to stake a claim for selection in the Trinidad and Tobago team ahead of next week’s friendly internationals against Grenada.

Jabloteh have been victorious in their three matches so far while, contrastingly, Defence Force are yet to gain a point this season.

That fixture will begin at 5 pm at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima while, two hours later, third-placed Joe Public will meet Superstar Rangers. Second-placed W Connection, the 2005 champs, are scheduled to face Neal and Massy Caledonia AIA from 6 pm at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva while Tobago United will be looking for their first point when they oppose United Petrotrin at the Palo Seco Recreation Ground at 4 pm.

Tomorrow, National Quarries North East Stars and Starworld Strikers square off from four o’clock at the Sangre Grande Recreation Ground.
