Panday hits out at Guyanese murder

Yesterday Guyanese police were blaming the killing on a robbery, but a Guyanese government spokesman said it was a political assassination.

Panday backed this latter stance. He said political violence had been introduced to Guyana by the late president Forbes Burnham.

He said such violence had serious implications which would lead to a road of no return.
