A picture paints a thousand words

When a party is voted into office the voters expect that the party in office would adhere to its manifesto.

To introduce any major issue or vast capital expenditure should require the approval of Parliament and by extension the people. If a party in office undertakes a programme that does not conform to the wishes of the people, the programme may be reversed at the expense of the taxpayer when the party demits office.

Today in our nation it appears that the present administration is using vast amounts of public funds doing projects that are contrary to the wishes of the entire spectrum in our society.

This also appears to be a deliberate move, as by all indications the purchase of water cannons, tear gas, rubber bullets and heavily armed helicopters were certainly not meant to fight crime. More recently the recruiting of 39 persons from the UK could be for personal protection when added to that special unit under ministerial control.

My fellow citizens, what would you deduce from this partial picture, this not being the entire canvas?
