Left-arm spinner Magnum Nanan led Comet’s bowling with four wickets for 89 and ex-national player Imran Khan took three for 88.

Sent in to bat, Munroe Road were shot out for 72, as their batsmen had no answer for the off-spin pair of TT’s Amit Jaggernauth (eight for 30) and Ryan Hurley (two for 24), with the evergreen Deonarine Deyal being the lone resistance with 25.
In response, Preysal were bowled out for 139 with Steve Roodal snaring five for 18 and Kwesi Maltay four for 55, despite a knock of 41 from Nishan Jaggesar. At the close, Munroe Road were 24/2 in their second innings.
And, at Wilson Road in Penal, FCB Clarke Road were 95 for one replying to 185 made by Queen’s Park. Darren Bravo, brother of WI all-rounder Dwayne, notched 67 for the Parkites.
