Talking out on crime in schools
Ken Jadoo, of the Wholistic Organisation for Raising Consciousness (WORC), has produced a document, “Freedom From Stress”.
The document, now being distributed to schools and other educational institutions, deals with a “wholistic” approach to life.
Jadoo said the spelling of holistic with a ‘‘w,’’ in the organisation’s name, was deliberate, since the group sought to address issues, beyond health and spirituality, that have been affecting the country. These included crime.
“We are targeting schools because we believe that there is a need to train the young people of this country on the topics of crime and other negative influences,” he said.
“How to prevent crime?,” “Can the Government be blamed for everything,” “The value of criticism”, “How to find true happiness” and “Exercise to awaken awareness” are some of the topics covered in the document. In his document, Jadoo said governments are not responsible for people getting intimately involved with marrying the wrong person and having problems in their relationships. Neither can governments be blamed for adultery.
“Can the Government be blamed for people overeating refined junk foods and having too many soft drinks and becoming overweight and not doing keep-fit exercises and not taking good care of their health?” he questioned.
Jadoo feels everyone must take care of themselves and ensure that their families are on the right track.
