When instinct has conquered brain

From the moment that Planet Earth spun into being, it is chance and change that have made it what it is now. Without some universal disaster it will continue to revolve and evolve, and is not going to spin back in the opposite direction to make what WAS into IS again. Not with billions of marches and prayers, nor new composite governments. It just isn’t going to happen. Even a brutal dictatorship would simply change who the killers and victims would be.

In a purely natural state, ignorance is innocence because it is based on instinct alone. We have long since lost our innocence but still retain our ignorance. Instinct has conquered brain.

Is it not strange that when we are at the highest point of technology ever, we are reverting to our former savage state? I am beginning to wonder if we ever really left it behind!
