Parents are the heroes

Just out of curiosity I telephoned a friend of mine in London and asked if many young persons were called to the bar at 22 years of age. He replied quite a few including himself (he did his LLB, his Bar vocational course, his LLM etc at King’s College London.)

He copped mostly A’s and B’s, 12 O’Level subjects in Trinidad, was denied an A Level Place, went to London did his A Levels, then King’s college and the rest is history.

By the way, his parents were minimum wage earners but they parented well.
