Bissoon sterling in South cricket
Leading the way was Sterling Bissoon who grabbed seven wickets in the match to take his team to victory. Batting first Petrotrin made 147 all out with Bissoon taking three for 22.
HYO then replied with a massive 297 all out. South Zone Under-19 player Bevon Duncan smashed an aggressive 128. In their second innings Petrotrin reached 128 all out with Bissoon taking four for 18.
In Division II, Hayden Ragbir scored his second century of the series to guide Young Lions to a first innings victory over Hillpiece at Palmiste.
Hillpiece batted first and scored 216 all out with Kenny Ramkissoon getting 84. Young Lions replied with 293, as Ragbir took the bowling apart in scoring 118. Ramkissoon was in form with the ball also taking four for 81.Batting a second time Hillpiece reached 107 for four, when the match was called off as a draw.
