Generation Next in Festival Square

Under the theme “Generation Next, Kaiso in Safe Hands” the tent features talented young artistes such as Isasha, Mr King, Sean Daniel, Carlene Wells, Karene Asche, Sheldon Reid, and Kizzie Ruiz among others. Generation Next highlights calypso, soca, steelband, chutney, and ragga soca compositions

NACC said it believes that this tent is a meaningful strategy towards encouraging youths to develop a greater appreciation for the calypso art form and to foster their return to the calypso tent.

Musical support for the young calypsonians will be provided by Earl Knight and Services Brass.
