Police ‘A’ miss 100-goal mark

At the Lystra Lewis Courts, Princes Building on Saturday last, the Police “A” team swamped the Bs 95-19 with Donna Elise Charles scoring 83 goals from her 93 attempts, Euphemia Huggins netted seven of nine and Lystra Simmons five of six.

Lynette Duncan led the Bs with ten goals from 20 attempts, Marlene Jackson eight of 19 and Shivaughn Skeete, one of five.

Defence Force shot down Government Printery 45-23 in the same division with Tricia Liverpool scoring 28 of her 40 attempts and Lystra Zamore 17 of 22.

Sharon John got 19 goals from 30 attempts, Ann Marie Thompson two of four and Cindy Hazelwood two of ten for the Printery women.

in Angela “Pinky” Drayton-Thomas “A1” Division action, Uppers scored a close 37-34 victory over Horizon on Debra Martin’s 24 goals from 32 attempts and Sophia Harper 13 of 25 for the winners.

Pietra Gay netted 23 of 37 and Susan Squires 11 of 19 for the losers.

And Chips edged San Juan Jabloteh 22-20 in Lady Erna Reece Intermediate Division 1 action.

Joelisa Cooper netted 12 of 18 attempts and Lee Ann O’Brien ten of 15 for the winners. Leah Toussaint got 12 of 14, Stacy Trotman five of six and Semo Davis three of six for Jabloteh.
