Six months and then what?

As a result, employment opportunities become a major challenge to those in search of jobs. Most of the job seekers are asked by employers, who were willing to provide them with jobs, if they have experience.

Hence government developed the On The Job Training Programme. A six-month programme which was made and served its purpose in providing experience in the working environment for the people in need of it.

But the fact is, when the six months are over, people still can’t find the jobs that asked for experience in the very beginning. Maybe it is funny especially for those not in this situation, but the reality is it’s very frustrating.

To this end, I beg the Government to either restructure the programme in a way so that people can get opportunities after its completion or just provide more jobs. To employers please do more also for the nation’s youths.

Most are trying and are fed up of receiving letters saying that we have your application on file and never call.
