Give us a break Benny Hinn

The President of ASJA and the Anglican Bishop have surmised that the freedom to practise your religion is enshrined in the laws of this country.

Does that include the freedom to bash and insult other religions openly offending the population at large?

This Man of God singles out other religions and basically denies them their authenticity by claiming that his way of worship is the only viable way to the Godhead. This should unsettle even the most tolerant and should be condemned.

I have attended every possible religious function I can, from Baptist to Hindu to Pentecostals and I would tell you openly that the only denomination that condemns other religions is the Pentecostal.

They unashamedly refute other religions as genuine.

I remember when the cartoonist infuriated the Muslim community by depicting The Prophet Muhammad and the reaction of the people. It caused a great stir. Here we sit idly by and allow one man aided by another myopic man to insult us and make a profit! We do nothing and after we talk.

I hope the Government (especially those non Christians) take a long hard look at the divisive nature of this preacher and for once stand up for something! Hinn should not be allowed to preach his venom and stir fear and panic here.
