‘Lucky seven’ concert for TAGS

TAGS will put on a thrilling concert at Bishop Anstey High School, Keate Street, Port-of-Spain tomorrow.

TAGS is a community outreach music education programme started in 1994 for those of limited means and for those who never had the opportunity to learn music before and apply it on the pan. It is geared towards introducing students of all ages to music theory and practical applications on the pan, and to help pan players to become musically literate.

The concert will help raise funds for TAGS’ programme which has been tremendously successful so far. The line up for the concert includes rapso master artiste Brother Resistance, former Young King Sheldon Reid and current National Calypso Queen Karene Asche. Tickets are available at Metropolitan Book Suppliers, Trinity Cathedral Office and TAGS members.
