Nikki plays the ‘Virgin’
Crosby plays the role of Myra Kendell who is intelligent and reading for a doctorate in sociology. She is engaged to be married, pretty much financially secured but there is just one thing that Myra has not done. She has never had sex. How come and why you ask, especially since we are in 2006 plus she is approaching 40? Well all questions will be answered when Funny Farm Factory Productions presents the new romantic comedy “The 40-year old Virgin.” Written by John Murray and featuring stand up comic sweetheart Crosby, as the 40-year-old virgin. Alongside her is Fabian who will be making a return to the theatrical stage as Danny Noel, the “sex doctor”.
The play is directed by Raymond Choo Kong and will be staged at the Central Bank auditorium for a very limited run of five nights only. “The 40-year-old Virgin” is Myra’s journey to sexual discovery while on that journey she discovers some things about who Myra truly is. Mixed into all of this is the romance and Choo Kong’s distinctive brand of humour.
The production opens on Wednesday at Central Bank Auditorium with the final performance for Mother’s Day, May 14.
Tickets are only available at Central Bank Auditorium.
