Check Criminal Statute 18

The questions posed in the editorial were the first time I have heard such astute observations voiced, and I suggest that your writers get hold of a copy of the USA Criminal Statute 18 Section 7(1) through (8) which will throw a beam of clarified brilliance on how powerful the USA claims to be and how they can back up their claims.

But in these very claims is outlined the limits of their jurisdiction and any attorney attempting to defend against extradition better have a clear grasp of these statutes and their import.

There are three main jurisdictions within the USA Federal Law.

The first is Personal Jurisdiction, and usually as soon as they have arrested you and put the cuffs on, you have abdicated that. The second is Subject Matter Jurisdiction, and that is simply that one must have committed an offense that is listed in their statutes as an offense.

The third and most important one, and which supercedes the first two, is Territorial Jurisdiction.

That is where a knowledge of 18 S 7 (1) to (8) comes in.

I hope that justice is served for every party in this awful matter.
