TSTT, Digicel mum on policy
At Thursday’s post-Cabinet news conference at Whitehall, Planning and Development Minister Camille Robinson-Regis said cellular service providers would now have to adhere to strict regulations and cell towers which do not conform to the new standard, would be torn down.
Contacted yesterday, TSTT officials said the company could not comment about Government’s new policy on cell tower construction until it studied the policy document referred to by Robinson-Regis. Digicel officials meanwhile indicated that it had no comment to make on the issue at this time.
