Natasha is Miss Elegance
The show was in celebration of Mothers’ Day.
By beating 18 other contestants, Alder who was sponsored by Miss Dominique’s Caterers received an array of prizes including $5000 from the Ministry of Culture, Community Development and Gender Affairs.
In addition she received two tickets to Tobago, offered by Eastern Credit Union; shoes by Shoeland; jewelry from Bobby’s Jewelry; a designer gown by Dexter Jennings; two communications scholarships, courtesy Effective Communications Skills Workshop, and a trophy from Decorative Glass.
She also captured the “Miss Enthusiastic” title.
Placing second was Anaelia Victor followed by Morisa Carimbocas in third place, Stacey Dempster, fourth and Lisa George, fifth.
The contestants were judged on personality, intelligence, introductory speech, their casual outfits and their evening gowns.
Prizes were offered in various categories, these included best style, best make-up, best sexy eyes, hairstyle, best complexion.
The entertainers for the night were Christine Bruno, Eric Wilson and Garvin Rogers. The joint hosts of the show which was produced by Lyndon Ross were Jenley John-Williams and Candice Aching John.
