Cops freed of charge

The victim yesterday told the court he did not wish to proceed with the matter because he had forgiven the two officers. Senior Counsel Rangee Dolsingh appeared for PC Ronald Ragoobar while attorney Ricky Rahim appeared for PC Sean Bernard.

The officers who appeared at the Sangre Grande Magistrates’ Court were charged that on April 20, 2001 they caused grievous bodily harm to Selwyn Murray of Ojoe Road in Sangre Grande.
