Brooklyn Games on thisweekend at Marabella

The action will begin with heats from 9 am on Saturday and Sunday, followed by the finals on both days from 2 pm.

According to Dr Billy Mohess, the games go a long way towards helping young athletes prepare for bigger things.

There will be 55 events spread over the two days, and several top athletes from the various athletic clubs of Trinidad and sister-island Tobago are expected to be in action.

Zeno Constance, coach of the Duncan Village, San Fernando-based club said he believes Trinidad and Tobago have moved forward in the development and status of sporting life, but must give support to young athletes and more competition.
