Bring on the English!

To see our people representing and singing with all their hearts when the National Anthem was being played in that alien place, it was a sight to behold. My heart ached to be there too. And what a relief that those yellows did not score against us by the time the final whistle blew. It felt like the victory we needed.

To Shaka, especially for his super cool cat composure and wonderful saves . . . a special congratulations (you have no idea how much we prayed for you during that match!). Our hearts, prayers, thoughts are with your Team Soca Warriors, to play well, remain injury free, and to show our class as sportsmen.

We’ll be ready Thursday. Bring on the English, (they think they can handle some Soca Warrior action!)
