POLICE OFFICER ROBBED IN GRANDE

A police officer attached to the Morvant Police Station and a San Raphael man were robbed of cash and valuables on Wednesday night by an armed gunman.

According to police reports, at about 10.30 pm, PC Alister Hosein was off-duty and liming with his friend, Niron Samuel, when a lone gunman stormed the house.

The gunman told both men to get into Hosein’s car and drove them to a secluded area in Sangre Grande.

Hosein and Samuel were then robbed of their cash and jewelry.

The gunman then escaped. The Sangre Grande Police Station is continuing the investigations.
