US Open tennis live on DirecTV
Fans in Trinidad and Tobago will experience the unique opportunity of viewing expanded coverage by ESPN of the 2008 US Open with DirecTV’s interactive platform.
A six-screen mosaic will be available on Channel 690 covering matches, statistics and information on demand. This will allow viewers to watch up to six live matches from six different courts for the first five days of play, offering more early round matches, and featuring live onscreen scoring of all the matches.
These interactive features are available to viewers with interactive receivers. In addition, viewers with DirecTV Plus DVRs can record matches for viewing at a later time. Any of the six matches can be viewed full screen by the touch of a button. All matches will be accompanied by courtside English language commentary.
Interactive coverage runs from Monday 25th to Friday 29th August 2008, with each daily session of approximately six hours. Any match starting prior to 5 pm will also be shown in its entirety. Coverage beyond Saturday, August 30 will be shown on ESPN International (Channel 611).
