UK university deadlines this month
Anyone hoping to be considered for entry in the 2009 academic year should submit their application by January 15, unless they are applying for an arts course — in which case the deadline is March 6. It is advised that you apply as early as possible, to avoid the last minute rush.
Universities and colleges do not guarantee to consider applications they receive after January 15 and some popular courses may not have vacancies after that date.
Applications can be made online at www.ucas.com at a cost of 17 GB pounds, which is payable by credit or debit card.
You can only send one application in each year's application cycle, but each application allows for up to five choices of courses or universities.
The University Central Admissions Service (UCAS) is the world's largest admissions service for higher education.
Each year the Company processes more than half a million applications, from all over the world, for courses at UK universities and colleges.
