Consolidated Insurance has new CEO

The Board of Directors of Consolidated Insurance Consultants Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Janice Roberts as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. No stranger to CIC and the Insurance Community of Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean, Janice started her Insurance career at CIC and worked with the company for over 20 years in various senior-level positions before leaving in 2000 to take up an appointment as a Technical Insurance Auditor with a leading insurance company. She is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute UK (ACII) and has an Executive Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of the West Indies where she specialised in Entrepreneurship and Joint Venture Management.

She holds several diplomas and certificates in Management Studies. Until earlier this year Janice held the positions of President of the Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Institute (2000-2003) and President of the Association of Insurance Institutes of the Caribbean (2001-2003).  She brings to CIC a mix of managerial skills, intimate knowledge of the insurance broking and insurance company operations. A Rotarian for the past seven years, she is a member of the Rotary Club of Central Port-of-Spain where she has served on the Board of Directors on many occasions.
