Keep up the good work, Nikki

THE EDITOR: I feel strongly that if I do not write in your publication about this I will be doing an injustice to the people of Trinidad and Tobago! I went this weekend to see the performance of Nikki Does Movie Towne Live, and I have to say that this is one of the best productions I have experienced in Trini-dad. In my opinion, the whole mood for this show began with the highway signs I saw in Sea Lots, at the intersection going South, and even to my surprise, down South! I was very curious about the play because I thought that this was such a creative way of promoting live theatre that it certainly got me wanting to see it!

Well I did! I have quite a hectic schedule but I felt that I had to make the time to “relax”...and there is no better way than to be entertained...and Movie Towne is a nice venue for that. I began to relax from the moment I sat in the cinema seat with my popcorn and listened to the wonderful music pla-yed as the pre-show music. The production itself was very cleverly put together with the music that related to each performance. Of course, I must also give justice to Nikki Crosby herself. A very talented young lady. I learned that evening that she wrote several of the pieces she performed, and each performance was very well done! She is a very talented and convincing actor and I cannot begin to imagine how she did what she did on stage that night. Great job Nikki, and keep up the good work! When is the next production? Can’t wait!
