PYM women cricket offer $3,000

OVER $3,000 will be at stake in the inaugural Progressive Youth Movement Women Windball Cricket League.

The competition bowls off on July 13 with matches throughout San Juan, starting from 9 am. Winners will get $2,000, a trophy and medals, while the runners-up collect $1,000 and $500 respectively. The league is open to all women cricket teams in the East-West corridor and a registration fee of $300 must be paid to secretary Monica Borel. There will be a meeting at the Aranguez Government Primary School on July 1 from 6 pm, and each team is asked to send two representatives.
