Coaching School smash HV Milan 10-0
ST CLAIR’S Coaching School smoked Hope Village Milan 10-0 when action resumed in the Tobago Football Association Warner’s Group of Companies-sponsored Semi-Professional League. The two-time defending champions began the scoring in the 8th minute when Keon Yearwood got the first of four goals. Yearwood smashed in three further goals in the 27th, 48th and 89th minutes. Deon Orr also got a quartet of goals, his first coming in the 16th minute, and the others in the 22nd, 23rd and 32nd minutes. Makan Hislop 67th and Kareem Robley 85th completed the scoring in Wednesday’s game at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet, Tobago. In the other game of the double-header at the stadium, Georgia FC shut out Charlotteville Unifiers 3-0.
Atwell Phillips got a double in the 35th and 45th minutes, after Robbie Thomas had opened the scoring in the 25th. At the stadium’s training ground, Earlbrokes FC edged Pepsi Hill United 3-2. Hendy Waldron opened the scoring for the winners in the 18th, minute, but Newton Nelson grabbed a 20th minute equaliser, and five minutes later Eustace Stewart put the Hill boys ahead. But Brindsley Reid put Earlbrokes level in the 48th and Kevin Waldron got what turned out to be the winner in the 51st minute. Promoted Sidey’s FC and Pepsi FA Cup holders 1976 FC Phoenix XS played to a 1-1 draw. After a goalless first half, Ryan Gray gave Sidey’s a 65th minute lead, but Phoenix got ther equaliser from Leandro Williams in the 72nd. Dwayne Leacock got an 86th minute goal for Stokelyvale to earn a 1-1 draw with Bethel United, who got their goal from Jason Stewart in the 18th.
