Kickboxing in Chaguanas tonight

Two fighters with similar records will square off at the Central Regional Indoor Sport Arena, Chaguanas in the main event tonight when Fine Line Kickboxing Gym presents “Fight Night Six” from 7 pm.

Billed as Trinidad and Tobago’s most promising fighter, Fine Line’s Mervyn Smith with a 7-6 record will come up against the craft of veteran kickboxer Michael Springer with a 8-6 record. Springer, who is now a boxer with Tigers Gym, has been promised an early leave of the ring by his younger opponent but plans to be late with his boxing lesson. In the other bouts Leroy Isidore will go up against Bradley “Vandaminator” Samdeo in a revenge contest; Patrice Kalloo will come up against Jacine Rodney; Jason Ramoutar meets Conrad Rodney; Prince-Lee Isidore and David Boopraj have an appointment ringside; and Nishard Gopaulchan and Vinoor Samaroo will complete the undercard for the night. Fine Line’s Ria Ramnarine is also carded to make a guest appearance in a three-round boxing exhibition with Marvin Singh.
