Crabs eye All Sport prize money
THOSE Eastern Crabs (Connection) will attempt to make another giant stride toward the top $25,000 prize in the inaugural All Sport Promotions Super Football League today.
The Crabs will crawl from their hole to the Hasely Crawford Statium, Mucurapo to confront Defence Force from 6 pm. A victory will put the Easterners on 22 points, and will need just one more from their match against Club Sando at the same venue at the third and final “Friday Lime.” Only Police can deny Crab Connection of collecting the big cheque, as WASA have completed their 10-match schedule on 21 points. The lawmen have one more match against Defence Force at Chaguaramas on Saturday, by which time the winners will already be known.
This week’s final round fixtures are: Today — Defence Force vs Crab Connection, at Hasely Crawford Stadium, 4 pm.
Tomorrow — Biwater Stokelyvale vs Caroni, at Shaw Park, Tobago; TCL Samba Boys vs Mayaro Spurs, at Brechin Castle, 4 pm.
Friday — Maraval Youth Academy vs Tamana United, 6 pm; Crab Connection vs Club Sando 8 pm, Hasely Crawford Stadium.
Saturday — Defence Force vs Police, at Chaguaramas; Casroni vs Mayaro Spurs, at Brechin Castle; Biwater Stokelyvale vs TCL Samba Boys, at Shaw Park, Tobago, 4 pm.
