‘Naps’ jump to front in South Zone

CHAMPIONS Naparima surged to the top of the South Zone of the British Gas Secondary Schools Football League, when they spanked Presentation 4-1 at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella  yesterday.

The match was postponed from Thursday last, because of a waterlogged ground. Devon James sent shock waves among the “Naps”supporters when he put Presentation in front. But Ancil Faria fashioned a hat-trick and Ateba Forde got the other goal to give Naparima a one-point lead over Princes Town and Pleasantville. Presentation were confined to the cellar position with a mere one point from seven matches.
