Indoor hockey flicks off at Woodbrook
VENTURES will oppose Malvern in a women’s fixture as the Trinidad and Tobago Hockey Board (TTHB) National Indoor tournament flicks off from 6.30 pm.
Defending men’s champions Paragon, featuring national players Wayne Legerton and Dillet Gilkes, will oppose Carib in the evening’s other encounter. The event, which is sponsored by Toyota, will comprise matches in the men’s, women’s and schools’ divisions at the Woodbrook Youth Facility, Port-of-Spain. And matches will be contested every day from 6.30-11 pm on weekdays and from 4 pm on weekends. There will be no competition on Thursdays. Schools matches are being staged at 9 am on Saturdays and Sundays.
