Monopoly meet at Woodbrook

The Monopoly Association of Trinidad and Tobago has been forced to relocate their Annual General Meeting carded for today to 13 Brabant Street, Woodbrook, opposite the Queen’s Park Oval.

The meeting, president Crystal Khan outlines,  has been called “to facilitate restructuring the  association along the guidelines set by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and present strategic plans for the next six months.” Khan also apologised for any inconvenience the change of venue may cause but stated it was necessary due to repairs which are underway at their usual meeting room at CLICO’s St Vincent Street offices.Rose Deane, vice president of the association revealed that in order for the association to be recognised by the ministry there  needs to be a network set up throughout the country with links to the parent body and the only way for these constitutional changes to be made is by majority decision at a general meeting. The meeting begins at 2 pm today and for further information members can call Rose Deane at 688-4664.
