TT face Canada in Bowl
TRINIDAD AND Tobago senior cricket team will be vying for their second straight win in Zone “A” of the Red Stripe Bowl when they face World Cup representatives Canada at the Alpart Grounds, Jamaica today from 10.30 am (TT time).
The TT squad, under the captaincy of Daren Ganga, defeated the Leewards XI by 13 runs, under the Duckworth-Lewis system, at the Sir Frank Worrell Oval, situated on the University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona Campus on Wednesday. But the Canadians suffered a humiliating 127-run loss to the Windwards at Jamalco Grounds on Thursday. Today’s other Red Stripe Bowl fixture will see Guyana squaring off against the UWI XI at the Antigua Recreation Grounds, St John’s, Antigua from 9.30 am.
