Glamorgan go for beach v-ball title

TOP club volleyballers G.lamorgan I will face Top Shotters in the feature men game, when the  Stag Spikedown Beach Volleyball series concludes at Maracas Beach today. The action which will involve the top national women and men volleyball players, gets underway from 9 am. This final round follows the preliminaries which were contested  to 5 pm at Vessigny Beach Facility on September 7. The volleyballers are using this series as part of their preparations for the Confederation Tournament in Puerto Rico from October 10-12. Apart from the feature game, Stag BMP will play Sizzling Spikers, Starlins meet Glamorgans II and Tobago square off against CGE in the Women’s Open Quarter-finals. The Professional Women’s Semi-finals has the team of Honore/Woodroffe  facing  the Ferguson/Sealy pair and Phillips/ Ferreira against Wodroffe/Mohan. In the Men’s Open Quarter-finals, Gargoyles meet Purcell, Waternuts Warriors face SEPOS Trendsetters, Beers come up against Matrix and Puto Kings play T3. The Professional Men’s Semi-finals will see Thomas/Eddie playing Tash/Gideon and Davis/ Camacho against Ali/Kissoon. Both  men’s and women’s quarter-finals begin at 9.30 am and both semi-finals are scheduled for 11am.
