Williams for Shuko-Kai seminar

Sensei Darryl Williams, 5th Dan and Technical Supervisor for Trinidad and Tobago is expected homesoon to conduct a technical seminar for all Shuko-Kai instructors and senior Black Belts. The New York, US-based official will also use the opportunity to finalise plans for Shihan Kunio Miyake’s visit to TT next April.

In a media release issued by Keshni Sookram, secretary of Shuko Kai International (Trinidad and Tobago) a list of the registered Black Belts in TT was included. They are: 4th dan - Indira Ramlogan; 3rd Dan - Keeshan Williams, Curtis Carrera and Archie Leiba; 2nd Dan - Keith Taylor, Carlton Hunte, Naresh Ramlogan; 1st Dan - Narindra Singh, Rudd Mohammed, Besham Pysadee, Lynette Bachoo, Tenisha Browne and Kenan Wilson. Sensei Peter Lawrence is expected to travel to New York next month to be evaluated directly under Shihan Kunio Miyake. There he will meet other Shuko-Kai instructors from the Caribbean. Sensei Lawrence  who holds a 4th Dan in Shito-Ryu Karate, is the chief instructor for Lawrence Bujitsu Society, one of the dojos in Shuko-Kai TT.
