Jabloteh sight 20th win against SWIF
CL FINANCIAL San Juan Jabloteh will be eyeing their 20th win of the season when they oppose second-from-bottom South West Institute of Football (SWIF) at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo from 7 pm today.
The league champions will be sparing no mercy on the debutants from Palo Seco, who have struggled to find any consistency in their 22 matches, with only 17 points including four victories. Jabloteh hold a nine-point advantage over W Connection, who is expected to get the better of “the Stallions” Caledonia AIA at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Balmain, Couva. North East Stars, who is a distant third on 39 points, will be looking to hold off fourth-placed South Starworld Strikers at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar, Arima while, on Thursday, Arima Fire will oppose Defence Force at the Malabar facility. All matches begin at 7 pm while the Under-20 fixtures kick off two hours earlier. But action will continue on the Divali holiday on Friday, with the “Eastern Lions” Joe Public hosting cellar-placed Tobago United at 2 pm and 4 pm respectively at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya.
