Success/Laventille win schools v-ball

SUCCESS/LAVENTILLE Composite scored a 2-0 shut out victory over Morvant/Laventille as North-East Schools Volleyball League Under-16 action continued. After easily winning the first set 25-9, the Success/Laventille team romped to a 25-10 victory in the second. Holy Name Convent also won 2-0 over Aranguez Junior Secondary, taking the first set 25-10 and the second 25-14. In Under-14 Division Group 1 action, Holy Name Convent downed Aranguez Junior Secondary 25-2, 25-8. Maple Leaf shut out Success/Laventille 2-0 in Group 2, winning 25-23 and 25-22, while Morvant/Laventille edged Bishop Anstey 2-1 after dropping the fist set 20-25. The Morvant/Laventille girls won ther second set 25-16 and then took the third and match 15-10. But Bishop Anstey bounced back to whip Success/Laventille 25-24, 25-22 in the same bracket.
