Mucurapo beat SEPOS n-ballers

CHAMPS Mucurapo Junior Secondary disposed of South East Port-of-Spain 30-15, for their second victory in as many matches in North Zone action of this year’s British Gas Secondary Schools Netball League. The match on Friday at the Jean Pierre Complex, Mucurapo was marked by accurate shooting by both teams. Anuola Camejo scored 16 goals from 17 attempts and Nariba Grant 14 from 18 for the Mucurapo girls in the Group “X” match, while Rhonique Williams netted nine goals from 10 attempts, Shenese John five of five and Makeda de Freitas, one of three for SEPoS. In Group “Y” action, Tranquillity whipped Malick 27-19 with K’Lene Lewis scoring 23 goals from 41 attempts and Kelly Matthews, four of eight. Sally Currency scored 14 goals from her 21 attempts and Giselle Antoine had  five of nine for the Malick girls.
