Excel get first n-ball victory

EXCEL COMPOSITE got their first victory in Group X of the British Gas-sponsored Secon-dary Schools Netball League North zone, when they whipped Bishop Anstey 15-10.

Makeda King scored 12 goals and Keisha Marshall netted three for the winners, while Donella Adams got seven and Kimberly Lyder three for the Bishop girls. Success/Laventille Composite beat Diego Martin Government 19-14 in another game in Group Y also on Wedsnesday at the Jean Pierre Sports Complex. Goal-shoot Tenisha Price scored 12 goals from 21 attempts and Ghaaliya O’Brien got seven from 20 for the Success/Laventille girls.  Kelly Ann Francis led Diego with nine goals from 13 attempts and Suelin Tang had five goals from ten attempts.
