Hangover reach windball cricket semis

CASAT HANGOVER, with a narrow seven-run victory over Real Street, advanced to the Advanced Commercial/Cosmos windball cricket semi-final on Sunday.

Hangover batted first and scored 51 with K Mannah getting a topscore of 23. J Haridial returned the excellent figures of four wickets for four runs. Real Street were then restricted to 49 for nine despite a fighting 16 from S Hosein. Hangover’s opponents in Sunday’s semi-final will be Same Khaki Pants who got the better of Lisa Savannah Youths by 31 runs. Khaki Pants batted first and scored 55 runs with Shyam Mohammed taking 3/10. Savannah Youths were then put under the gun by R Morang 3/4 and S Mahase 4/9 and folded for 24. The other semi-final will take place after a clash between Dollar Touch/ICL Savannah Youths who ended in a tie in the quarter-finals.
