TT women reach Olympic final round

PARAMARIBO: Trinidad and Tobago’s national women team reached the final round of the CONCACAF Women Olympic Qualification when they eliminated Suriname 6-2 on aggregate. After taking the first leg 2-0 on Sunday at the Andres Kamperveen Stadium, double strikes from forwards Maylee Attin-Johnson and Natalie Des Vignes helped the TT lasses complete the sweep of the series with a 4-2 win in  the second leg at the same venue on Wednesday.
