Ames brothers still trail W/Cup

KIAWAH ISLAND, South Carolina: The Ames brothers, Stephen and Robert, representing Trinidad and Tobago in the WGC World Cup are now in 18th position after the third round of the US $4 million event. The Ames had their best day of the event when they carded a five-under-par 67 yesterday, but were a distant 21 strokes behind leaders Trevor Immelman and Rory Sabbatini of South Africa at the Ocean Course on the Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Immelman and Sabbatini shot a nine-under par 63 to take the lead with an overall 14-under 202 after three days of the 23-team event. The French duo of Thomas Levet and Raphael Jacquelin and the American pair of Jim Furyk and Justin Leonard are tied for second at seven-under 209.
