Connection dim Stars 3-1

ST KITTS striker George Isaac netted a double while prolific Under-20 forward Jason Marcano added another as W Connection remained in the hunt for the 2003 T&T Pro League with a 3-1 win over North East Stars at the Sangre Grande Recreation Grounds, yesterday. Connection have seven matches left this season, and they maintain their second position with 67 points, 14 ahead of third-placed N/E Stars who only have five more fixtures left.

Champions CL Financial San Juan Jabloteh who sit comfortably atop the 10-team standings with 74 points, will meet “Eastern Lions” Joe Public on Friday. Marcano put Connection in front after 38 minutes, with Isaac doubling the lead in the 66th. Anthony Wolfe reduced the deficit in the 68th before Isaac sealed the win with an 89th minute strike.
